Locate friction on each study screen.
Purpose
Connect routes, clicks and comments to a specific screen.
When to use it
In studies with prototypes or screen interviews containing navigation data.
Before you start
- Screens in the published snapshot
- Sessions with recorded events
Example
The address screen has many off-button clicks and route exits.
Step by step
- Open Journey. In Results, open Journey when available and check the version and session slice. Study screens.
- Read the map. Follow arrows from the start screen. Observe route volume, drop-off between screens and whether people reach the goal. Start → intermediate screens → goal.
- Open the dossier. Click a screen. Inspect its heatmap, clickable areas and off-area clicks; check context before accepting an AI summary. Clicks inside and outside areas.
- Open People or Paths. Find sessions that visited the screen and open a replay. In the prototype block, use Paths to compare frequent sequences. Individual evidence alongside aggregates.

Cautions and limitations
- Heat indicates click concentration, not satisfaction.
- Compare the same layout and slice; Behavior uses a different, relative map without a screenshot background.
