Move from collection counts to block-level evidence.

Purpose
Understand who finished, where difficulty occurred and what supports a decision.
When to use it
After the first responses and before presenting conclusions.
Before you start
- Collected responses
- Read access to the study
Example
A task has low completion; open sessions to understand where people stop.
Step by step
- Read collection. Open Results and check responses, completions, screen-outs and abandonments. Separate study completion from success on a task. Study completion ≠ task success.
- Choose the base. Apply version, device, outcome and panel-variable filters. Use Include partials when you want to examine non-completers too. The slice appears in the URL.
- Open the block. Read each block’s distribution and response base. For metrics, check scale and interval; for open questions, read examples alongside themes. Chart · Base size · Answers.
- Check the session. Open a session or quote explaining the finding. Review replay or the original answer before saving a highlight or writing the conclusion. An observation linked to original data.
How to read the result
- A conclusion tied to the analyzed slice
- Specific evidence to review and share
Cautions and limitations
- Distributions use completed sessions by default; including partials changes the base.
- A standardized metric needs the correct items; a standalone scale does not automatically become SUS.
