Opinion scale and metrics
Choose the right scale for clarity, recommendation, satisfaction or usability.
What it does
Turn a subjective assessment into a numeric answer with clear endpoints.
When to use it
To compare ratings using the same question and range; use ready-made batteries when you need SUS or UMUX-Lite.
Before you begin
- Define the concept: clarity, satisfaction, recommendation or ease.
- SUS, UMUX-Lite and SEQ come from New study templates; they are not additional presets in the scale editor.

Ask about clarity
Add Opinion scale and write a specific rating question.
- How clear was the receipt?
An example to try
How clear was the receipt?
- 1 Not clear at all
- 5 Very clear
What you see in results
- Read the distribution, base and metric appropriate to the question.
- SUS and UMUX-Lite require complete batteries; the system does not invent missing items.
Avoid these mix-ups
- Do not call every 0–10 scale NPS: the question must ask about recommendation.
- Do not remove or duplicate items within a standardized battery and expect the same scoring.
