Separate the researcher’s language from the participant’s language.

Deliver an interface and questions the audience can understand.

When to use it

When working in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

Example

Work in Portuguese with a study entirely in Spanish.

Step by step

1. Choose dashboard language. Open Settings and select Portuguese, Spanish or English in Language. Save the account preference. Researcher interface.

1. Set study language. In Share, choose the participant language. It controls buttons, consent and messages in the published flow. Português · Español · English.

1. Review authored text. Check questions, options, tasks and scripts. Translate or review this text in the chosen language; it is authored study content. Questions · Options · Instructions.

1. Publish and check. Publish the revision and walk through Test to the final screen. For interviews, also check speech and follow-up prompts. Interface and content in the same language.

Validate before collecting responses

The side preview lets you inspect a block; for Figma it is static. To validate draft rules and order, use Test full flow, without creating sessions or taking quota slots. Figma, recording, voice and AI follow-up require the published link. Test published opens the real /r/[token] link: it can create responses and consume quota. Separate these tests when analyzing your collection.

How to read the result

• Dashboard in the account language
• Participants receive the interface in the published language

Cautions and limitations

• Changing account language does not automatically translate questions.
• Review authored text and the published version after changing study language.
