Separate the researcher’s language from the participant’s language.

Deliver an interface and questions the audience can understand.

When working in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

Example

Work in Portuguese with a study entirely in Spanish.

Step by step

1. Choose dashboard language. Open Settings and find Language. Select Português, Español or English; the preference saves when selected. Wait for refresh and check a dashboard label. This choice applies to your account and does not translate study questions. Researcher interface.

2. Set study language. Open the study, go to Share and find Participant language. Click Español for this example and wait for saving. Review the accent where available. The language controls fixed text, such as buttons and consent, in the version you publish. Português · Español · English.

3. Review authored text. Return to the builder and select each block. Translate or review prompts, options and instructions in Spanish; for example, use ¿Qué dificultó cambiar la dirección? for the open question. Also check interview context and topics; changing language does not rewrite them. Questions · Options · Instructions.

4. Publish and check. In the builder, select a block and open Preview in new tab to check questions and buttons in the chosen language. Then publish the revision in Share and open the public link. Check consent, questions and ending. Voice and AI follow-up require this real test, which may create a response and consume quota. Block preview does not apply skip rules · Use Study preview to review the flow; interviews and external tasks are simulated in that mode.

Validate before collecting responses

In the builder, Study preview applies draft groups, rules and screening without creating sessions or taking quota slots. For Figma tasks, websites and interviews, it shows Simulated answer to test logic: the author supplies the outcome; this does not demonstrate a real interaction.

Preview in new tab lets you check each block on desktop or mobile, including interactive Figma navigation and a simulated interview conversation. This block preview does not apply study skip rules.

To validate real websites, recording, voice and AI follow-up, publish and use Open link in new tab in Share. The published link opens a real participation at /r/[token]: it may create responses and consume quota. Keep this participation separate when analyzing collection.

How to read the result

• Dashboard in the account language

Cautions and limitations

• Changing account language does not automatically translate questions.
• Review authored text and the published version after changing study language.
