Purpose

Combine authorized video, event replay and excerpts for discussion.

When to use it

When you need to observe execution and share a specific moment.

Before you start

  • A compatible device for video
  • Participant consent
  • Available session and media for review

Example

Clip the moment when someone searches for the save button.

Step by step

  1. Configure recording. In Share, choose recording mode and audio. Read device requirements; website tests may need the entire screen. Optional or required · Audio when needed.
  1. Rehearse permission. On the test device, check consent and the browser picker. Also review refusal or unsupported-device behavior. Share only what is needed.
  1. Open the session. In Results, open the session and choose Video when available or Replay. Use markers to jump to the block and inspect any transcript. Video · Replay · Markers.
  1. Mark the excerpt. In an available recording’s player, mark start and end and create a clip. Review the interval before copying its public link. Start before the issue · End after the reaction.
  1. Manage access and availability. Delete the clip to disable its link when needed. Check availability in the session; expired media is no longer available to play. Public link · Media status.

How to read the result

  • Video when captured and processed
  • Replay of available events
  • Shareable clip of the selected interval

Cautions and limitations

  • Replay reconstructs events; the cursor between clicks may be estimated.
  • Video depends on support, permission and processing; do not promise recording on every device.
  • Visitor Behavior does not offer visual replay.
